Don't do it! They sound awful on a Vette. Have you heard them in person? If not, I highly reccomend you do so. The Chris Craft reputation that the Corsas carry is for a reason.
Oh well...you asked and I gave you my gut level opinion! I have heard both exhausts on a Vette and didn't care for it myself.
Good luck with your choice, and if you like the sound...go for it!
Corsa Indy Pace = same. I just installed a set on my Z. Scott04Z is right. They do sound like an outboard motor at idle but sound AWESOME under acceleration. They cruise nice and quiet too so you don't have to wake up the neighborhood unless you want to. I'm thinking of addiing an X-pipe to see how it changes things.
I put the Corsa Indy's on my Z a few months ago. I added a WCC Tru-X Pipe at the same time. I'm very happy with the sound of the mufflers. They're mild at idle and cruise. But when you lay on it, it sounds wicked!!! And the look of the Tiger Shark Tips i got are awesome. I checked out Borla's & B&B's, and i didn't like the resonance you get inside the car and lower RPM's. I had to deal with that in my 96 LT1 Vette. I had Mangaflows, and being an A/T, the drone between 1,500-2K RPM's was super annoying. I would try to hear as many different exhausts in person before making a descision. Check in your Regional Forum, someone close by might beable to swing by you, so you can hear with your own ! Good luck.

Obviously haven't looked myself but is the stock H pipe bolted on or do you have to cut it?
Everyone says that at idle it sounds like an outboard motor. Well the stock ones do also. Is it any worse than those or sorta the same? My thought process is that I like the european type sound on the race track more than the muscle sound like a ford mustang.
Ill try and get a listen in on one before i get one. I did listen to it online but im sure in person its different.

The Corsa X pipe requires you to cut the stock H pipe. I don't know if all do, but this one does. Mine goes on soon - and I LOVE the sound of my Corsa pace under WOT...totally whicked.
