Default Wheel Sensor Problem

Recently bought a set of Ronal Wheels for my 2004. swapped sensors from stock 04 wheels to the Ronals, no problem but had to use bands ( similiar to the ones used in 92 Vettes ) for the sensors However, Had to make a fast trip to Louisiana last weekend and about 75 miles into the trip got a DIC warning "Service tire mon sys xxxPSI. Reset monitor system and this happened a couple of more times on the way down ( 850 miles ) Coming back the warning system came on only 1 time during the 850 miles back. Anyone have any ideas ? Any guesses what the probllem may be - Sensor going bad?. Vette has been about 21,000 miles. Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated.

Sensor batteries are supposed to last from 5 to 7 years.
I would go ahead and reset your sensors and see what happens.
I need to do the same thing as I have been seeing the same message since I put my new wheels on!
Came on about 100 miles after mounting.
