Default Wheel/tire help please!!

Hey everyone,
I've been going over all the threads in the world on here that I've read about what does and doesn't fit. I'm hoping to get some good solid answers and feedback from all of you who have gone before me!! Basically I'm going to be making low 500rwhp in a couple months and I'm going away from my stock chrome 5 spokes to a newer wheel and rubber that sticks, well somewhat at least. I'm NOT going to run an r compound or drag radial for reasons of traveling in rain maybe, have had to deal with r compound tires on a cold street before, and want the car to handle not just launch in a straight line as well. Also going to run 18's all around since the world of tires in 19's isn't as "performance" oriented in my mind. So I hope you guys can help me out here.

Correct me if I'm wrong but from what I have seen is a 335 won't fit perfectly under the fender well without tubbing no matter what?? The best I've seen is blackjack's car on ccw's that sticks out a tiny bit. Iforged also agrees and says an 11 inch wheel max without tubbing and basically a 315.

Does anyone have a number or email for "John at CCW"?? I'm curious to contact him since he helped Blackjack with an 11.5 that doesn't look that bad and wondering if he can do a special combo with one of his wheels I've never seen on here before.

I'm all ears for other owners who have made this kind of power and found some good solutions. I was TRYING to avoid tubbing but I'm worried I don't have much choice. But then how much if any difference do you notice from a 315 vs a 335 as well?? Only downfall is a front tire not as wide to meet a good stagger ratio. I'll run other wheels/tires for drag racing and auto-x but just want a really good street setup with good rubber that will almost always be in the dry.
