Just ordered a HID kit!:)
I placed a order for a Xtec 6000K HID kit from Revextreme. They have a really good customer service and price. Has anybody got this kit, or a Xtec HID kit on their C5? Where did you mount the ballast. I have had HID kit's on my SS Camaro but haven't ran a set on my C5!

mine is a BlingLights kit. i got a Very High Output kit, 50watt 8000K.
u can buy a normal 35w kit for 300 shipped! great deal!!!
here they are in the C5R headlights conversion...
the cul-de-sac lit up!
HID vs Stock halogen, in stock housing.
mounting spot for the ballasts, i put mine right above the fog light bracket.

Can't wait to get them in. Post pics if you have HID's Thanks! You will like the improvement over stock, but here is a comparison of my Xtec HID (in euro housings) and the Vette-HID.

HUGE difference!
The Xtec HID seemed to put a lot of light right in front of the car, the Vette-HID concentrates the light down the road, and I now have high beams (didn't have them with the H4 Xtec HID's)
The result is I can see farther with the Vette-HID headlights.
for me, they were worth the price.
and best of all they are DOT legal!
