Default Wheel Questions

I have a few wheel questions for you guys. Are the House of Wheels reproduction Motorsport wheels as strong as OEMs? Do they weigh more? Are there any issues in running 18 x 10.5’s in all four corners?

Generally, any reproduction wheel is going to be heavier than the stock Z06 wheels. Not sure what you mean, just as strong. I don't think they'll cave in while your driving on them if that's what you mean. As far as the sizing goes, I'll let someone else chime on in on whether or not those sizes work. I can't imagine why not though.

I'll be shopping for aftermarket wheels probably during the summer. And I'll be looking for ones made in the good old USA...

No they are not a strong. They will do for street use only. (maybee)
There have been a few cases of repo wheels breaking (spokes at the hub)
18x10 all around seems to work for some. I have my questions as to how much it throws off the active handling as the wheels are normally turning at two different rates and will not after a change. Although I really like this idea also. Personally I track my car and will hold out for real track wheels BBS is what I'd like however it's big bucks! It'll have to wait (for me anyhow)

Failure is exactly what I'm concerned about. What advantages would I see with track wheels verses a set of 10.5 Z06 OEM wheels? Any ideas on how to gain more info on the active handling issue?
