It's complicated now since they have done some work and have some/all of the parts. They are not just going to let him take it somewhere else without getting paid for whatever they have done. Have they gotten any money yet?

Yes, that is lesson to be learned here.The words "not in a hurry"will be remembered when all else is forgotten.Don't ever use those words when you go to a shop.They can never be a benefit you.As for now just stop in every chance you get.Don't be ugly.Just walking in the door on a regular basis will be enough to put your car at the head of the list.

Sorry to be so "FRANK" but I think its time to be a man and go in there and gain some RESPECT!
Sounds to me like they are walking all over you... They would of never had my "baby" in that shop for 5 months....
