My good buddy wanted to whip me up a sub and amp combo for an upcoming show and this is what he came up with - what do you think? It's basically a 200 watt amp with 2 10 inch subs and 4 red neons (trying to tie in some of the red from the interior and exterior of the car). He glassed the box all freehand. Whats really cool is that this box sits ON TOP of the rear storage compartment and not IN it. This way I can still haul items around in the storage and yet the box disconnects from the amp in about 2 minutes for when I want to take her to the track. We are upgrading from a 200 watt amp to a 450 watt amp next week to help drive the dual subs and then I plan to go with a DVD/NAV combo head unit but for now - he managed to get this to run off the factory head unit.
What ya think? Night shots are a little funky since I'm working with a brand new digital camera!

Wow looks pretty cool, not the kinda thing I would do on my Vette but it goes well with the theme of your car I like the red lights they go well with your red accent trim paint
Now that the sun is up - I snapped two quick pics from a little further away for those that wanted to see the entire setup. Please excuse the mess - I haven't had time yet to clean her up yet.

Cant believe youve left you girl exposed like that....
Nice install btw....from the first pics, looked like the box was near the from of the trunk area. Didnt know that it used the rear compartments.
Show us more pics when you get more done
