Default exhaust questions?

K.. here goes.

Can i install LT headers w/ my stock H pipe? I love the backfiring sound and hate that grawling of the x pipe....

Also I don't want my car to be the loudest car on the block ...if I decide to go with a head cam 150 shot will i need to get HIGH flow cats?? I really don't care about 3hp more id like to keep the noise down as it is right now with my B&B Dual tips its PERFECT! I don't want a loud car...just one with ***** =) Will my stock cats be a prob for a modded car? I woud rather install cutouts for those "special" moments.

You should be able to do what you want, will it create a problem with Kalifornia inspections?

I wouldnt recomend LT's with the factory H-pipe but it's very possable. But yah you might want to look into getting Shorties that meet Cali emmissions.

Sounds like you're spending money for something that you don't want. Why do you want the LT's to start with?

well LT more low end power...now if the H pipe and stock cats conflict with that then... yes of corse I will rip em out and throw in the x with highflows... only reason I like to keep the H is the sound and stock cats to minimize sound that the LT's will make. As far as Kalifornia ... I really could give a $#!^ less I got buddies in the smog buizz =)
