I had them and decided to go a different route with the header/exhaust area. I can tell you, they are loud. I would definately invest in a partition, unless you don't want to hear your passengers, which sometimes isn't a bad thing...

No noticeable performance difference (mine is stock), but with an intake, x-pipe, and tune, you should feel a difference.

I am running them now and they are very agresive. I have run borla stingers stock and with LG Pro LTs (no cats) and now the LGs with BB Bullets with CATS and they are much more agresive than the stingers @ idle and WOT even with CATS. Part? I would say yes ane then what???? They are sick @ WOT and running thru the rpm range and have a great idle. IMO only for those that want to hear the car and not much else around them.

I'm running the four tip style on a stock '03 Z06 and they sound great. They are loud but not bad on highway at 70mph - most resonance inside is noticeable around town at about 35-40mph.

I love mine.... I have LG headers with cats and the Twin Tip Bullets.
They sounded great with stock exhaust but sounded 10000% better with the addition of the LG long tubes. I did add a partition and it was night and day with the resonance issue. I only seem to hear the exhaust from outside the car now... not behind me in the trunk like before the partition was added. I would buy them again !

I have yet to see a exhaust tip design this good looking too ! So easy to clean the "inside" of the tips to shine to a shinny chrome...

Heads/Cam comming next week... (LG's G5X1E, AFR 205's 59cc, UD pulley, 160 stat)... We will see how they sound after that

I am running them through stock cats with a Corsa XPipe and I think the sound is incredible. Also, they are not that loud.
But then again my last car was a 2000 408ci big cammed FBody through open exhaust (Borla wide open), so my idea of loud might be diff from yours.

As for rattling or vibration in the car, it is barely there, very very subtle.

I did feel a slight performance gain...but only track results will really tell the truth

I have them and think they are the best sounding exhaust on a C5. Now my car is extremely loud with the cam, lg headers (no cats) and the B&B bullets.

I love mine. 2 tip, 3" x-pipe, stock cats, stock manifolds. The 3" x-pipe gave them a very deep mello sound. I do have a partition, and no noise problems cruising. Wicked at WOT. No better sounding exhaust IMHO.
