Unfortunately, some of us have to wait for the rain, snow, and salt to go away; and while we are not driving, we'll do a couple of mods. I wish I could tell you guys I bolted in a new supercharger and long tube headers, but you know $$$$ is a bit of a problem. So mine is mostly nickel and dime stuff.
I started out lowering my car, then moved on to that annoying rocking seat. Did the fix and it turned out perfect. After that, LEDs in the rear, clear lenses in the front. Then I sanded down my FRCs and painted them torch red with clear coat. While I was at it, pulled off the sway bars, painted them torch red and added the aluminum end lengths. And lastly, I was under my car, looking for things to clear and polish and I noticed the aluminum fuel tank covers. Next thing I knew, I had them off and spent two hours at the buffing wheel and then reinstalled them. Yah, I know! I would rather be driving. SRS

Your sway bar and fuel tank covers look great. May have to take mine off and see how well they will polish.
Haven't done much to mine other than just detail it really well. Plan to powdercoat my rear sway bar red when I get the chance. May also get some new floor mats and a cargo mat.
That's funny, you and I did pretty much the same mods. I did my clear corners a while back though.
Here's my list,
New Shifter ****,
New E-brake handle,
Red Sway bar,
Lowered,
Engine dress up.
Well, let's see. So far I've installed a set of C6 Z06 chrome wheels. A C5 Z06 Titanium catback exhaust. Some Stainless Works LT headers. And last but not least a 228/222 588/581 cam with related hardware.
Hotchkis bars, elite tunnel plate, bilstein sport shocks, z06 functional rear brake ducts, vette essentials short shift boot, polished aluminum shift ****, new clutch, dynatech supermaxx lt system, stainless steel dress-up stuff, center storage console, dyno tune, n20 maybe...who knows what else by the time spring rolls around
Thanks to my new found addiction of reading the Corvette Forum and seeing all the great cars and things to do, I started with lowering my `99 Pewter Coupe, them moved to painting the FRCs, Rad. Cover, Washer Bottle and Coolant Tank House of Kolor "Tangerine", now I am in the process of replacing the stock radio with an Alpine H/U, 2 Precision Power Amps, Canton 3 way component set in the doors and an Alpine 12' sub in a stealth box in the rear.
But as I said before my new addiction has taken over....after reading this thread I must now polish the rear and paint my Sway Bar.......UGH.......This is taking over my life ! ! ! ! Is there a Mod Support Group to help with my problem ? ! ?
I painted calipers red, installed drilled&slotted rotors, white faced guages, ripper shifter, billet shift ****,LIoyd's floor mats, oil can under hood,Taylor plug wires,Bosch plugs. They where christmas presents. I guess i was good this year!
Installing the headers took about 8 hours over 2 - 3 days. Not bad, did it myself, pass side was most difficult side, driver's side was a piece of cake!
When you do it, PM me and I'll forward some tips to make install even easier - Also, I tried my stock mufflers, and they are going to get replaced - not enough sound w/ stock mufflers, but I really like the way the Dynatech headers fit and look. Seems much easier to change spark plugs w/ headers too.
