Default Traction control issue

Has any z owner had a problem with your tractio control system. I.m driving aropund and I.m able to spin my tires hard in 2nd gear with traction control system "on". When tires go up in smoke and there's no activation of Trac system on DIC. Today I get a check engin lite so I pull the codes off the dic and low and behold I have 13 TCM codes. I research the codes and they all talk about module failure in some shape or form. I got an appointment to have my chevy dealership that I can trust to look into a possible trac control module replacment. any thoughts, let me know

Just have them rip out the module and reprogram the PCM not to warn you about it and call it a day.

There definitely is something wrong with your traction control. My car will definitely cut power on a quick shift that breaks the tires loose. In one of my more brilliant moves at a drag strip, I backed into the water box to heat the tires, dropped the clutch at about 3,000 rpms and the engine stalled. You got it, I forgot to turn the traction control off. Real embarassing. Bottom line is let Mr. Goodwrench check it out.
