Default B&B headers + Zip Tie + Tune = 3??

Hey guys.... taking a survey on what HP I will have after the adding the mods listed below.

2002 Z06 30K miles
K&N filter (No zip tie) No Tune I made 361 RWHP

I just bought a set of BB Stepped Shorties SS Bolt on Headers and Plan to do the Zip Tie Mod keeping the K&N ....So with a safe tune from Jeff at CAM in Durham..What do you think my HP will be? I was thinking she should come in around 380+..... I will post my results this week... :-) but would love to hear what you think it would come in at....

i have no headers- i have thought about b & b for street here in kaliforneia, but not sure i want to spend the $$ the kinda driving i do..k & n open lid with larger airbridge and coupler(i think those two things are important)and b & b prt cat back witha dyno tune...i got 373rwhp and 362 tq-i did ok with an 01-you should be doing close to your target rwhp w/o headers..but a tune is a must

Most agree that there isn't much to be gained from installing "shorties" for all the time, effort and cost you'd be better off with LT's or leave the stock manifolds in place.

With just 3 "bolt on" mods my 03 Z is pulling 367 RWHP and I have been told with a tune I could see 375. Here's what I installed:

Blackwing
Bassani X-Pipe
B&B PRT's

That's it. I netted 20 RWHP. My AFR's are so bad my exhaust tips look like I drive a diesel.

If you can I'd reconsider installing the "shorties" and save the $$ for some LT's.

I bought the headers from a guy on the forum.. got a decent deal I hope... but my main goal was to get a set of headers that did not require any cutting of the original exhaust system... just a direct bolt on ... I know they don't add as much power as the long tubes but feel they will open up the midrange a bit... (I Hope) so i am thinking a little bit more air in and a little more out... mean a little bit more power... and with 1/2 days work can be back to 100% stock...

I had mine Dyno Tuned last weekend with, CAI, KOOKS longtube, hi-flow cats and X-pipe and the result was by chance 405 RWHP and 395 RWTQ. The tuner said the engine was very tight. There was an 03 Mustang GT with a vortec blower right after me and his results were 370RWHP and 320RWTQ. Needless to say the Mustang owner was very disappointed with his results. He now wants a Z06.

Cool Great numbers.... 405 is darn good. I have a buddie with a 03 cobra with quite a few mods.... last race he got me by about one car length but only in the midrange... I could pull past him at 110 and off the line.. but in the midrange he would pull past me... (track racing).... I was 361.1 at that time... now with 377.8 I hope to be able to hook him up...
