I especially like the way the wheels and tires fit the wheel wells. They stick out just a little further than the stock wheels/tires which gives the car a more agressive stance. Its hard to tell from the photos but the rear sidewalls stick out about 1/2" from the fender but the tread is still inside the wheel well.
I just orderd these same wheels, but in brushed aluminum. They look great on a black car

I am a little concerned about your comment that they stick out 1/2" Can you please clarify with some pics? Perhaps pics from the rear and closer to the fender.

1/2" sticking out is really too much for my tastes.

thanks

Dr. Pham,

I'll try to get a close-up picture posted tonight.

The tread is entirely inside the finder well but the KDW2 tire profile has a rounded side wall that actually overlaps the wheel a bit (which helps to protect the polished wheel rim). I think you can see the rounded sidewall profile in the picture I posted. There is definately no tread visible sticking outside the top of the finder well. IMHO this looks just right.

They look amazing... however I know just keeping the lips on my classics polished is a bitch... good luck keeping them shiney!

Wow, those look great. Didn't know how I would like the looks, but on your car they are a very good choice.

In response to Dr. Pham's concern about how far the tire sticks out in the rear, I recalibrated my eye and determine its more like 1/4" (actual measruement). Sorry for the inaccurate info. A straight edge puts things into perspective. Here is a photo of the straight edge up against the "tire" to show how it looks. Again this is all sidewall. These do sit out a little further than stock wheels/tires but it really fills out the wheel well very nice.

Again, thanks for all the thumbs up.

Its hard to show the contrast between a black car and tire. Anyway...

SWEET!!

Are you lowered and do you have any rubbing issues?

It looks like the 505A's now have some competition for my favorite rim.

Yep, lowered to about 1" over the tires. I have no rubbing issues and haven't heard of any with any of the CCW 18x11R and 18x10F wheels.

I'm a big fan of 5-spokes, but those are great looking wheels.
