Default Mag Ride Problems?

Anyone had any problems with their Mag Ride suspension yet?

If so what sort of problems did you have? There's lots of discussion about the reliabiltiy of the mag ride on the C6 forum. So I thought I would ask where the chances are better that there are a few high mileage Mag Ride cars.

At this date you only have three years of data to support one way or the other.

Me, I have had mine since Jan of '03 and no problems at all. I really like the flexibility of lthe system and the compliant ride it can provide.

My only complain is that at about 80mph it automatically switches to "sport" which causes a rather bumpy ride on the interstate at times. Small....but my gripe.

No problems here either. I did not know about this. Is there any indication when it switches?

Two years on my F55 and zero trouble so far. Love the good ride on long trips yet firm setting when needed.

I have the Magnetic Ride Suspension in my 03 Coupe. I really like the instant flexibility it provides. I haven't had any problems at all after 17k miles.

BTW - I've never had mine automatically shift to the firm sport setting at any speed (that I'm aware of). Selection is controlled by the switch mounted on the console.

I'll have to test that theory on my next drive...

I've had mine since Dec '02 and have driven coast to coast 3 times, so far (50K+ miles) and no problems here. Mine does not switch to "sport" at higher speeds. I was cruising at 125 MPH for over an hour from Las Vegas to Beatty Nevada. I switched to Sport and noticed the difference in ride quality, so it went back to Tour.

I love the F55
