I was thinking today that it would be great if the Aftermarket seat cover makers incorperated A nice sized map pouch into the back of the passenger seat cover. There is just no place to put a Thomas Guide or a Rand McNally map book. as wide as that seat is, you might even get a laptop and car power supply in there. Maybe even a pouch on the drivers seat as well so my honey has a place to keep her Coloring Books and crayons

Agree on the need -- perhaps a Rand McNally-sized pouch that velcros to the carpet on the wall behind the passenger seat instead? (eliminates the need to cover or modify the passenger seat)
