For those of you that have finished out the engine compartment, specifically painting the washer fluid & coolant tanks, has anyone filled in the "quilted" grooves on the tops of these to make them smooth? If so, what did you use....bondo?
I don't particularly care for the look of the "pleats", and think they might look better filled in.

a few forum vendors sell smooth covers for washer fluid & coolant tanks which can be painted any colour
Thanks guys......that looks like the hot set-up. I wasn't really looking forward to doing the body work and sanding (especially the sanding), to get the look.

I didn't smooth them out, but I did fill them in.

Stinger,
The fender sides, battery cover, rad cover, front nose trim are from American Car Craft

The intake cover, alt, tens. are from Corvette central. They make all kinds of trim also, but I only bought the 3 piece because I liked the other engine compartment trim that I already had.
--
The intake cover from American Car Craft did not fit well and cut into my hood liner.

I have the fuel rail covers off being custom painted by ChevyChad.
Oh I had better e-mail him and see how they are coming along.
