Thought you might like to see a pic from the 50th anniversary Corvette Caravan. This was taken during the parade lap before we headed south for Bowling Green. There were 900+ Vettes gathered at the track that day.
thats really a special place down there, this year we were at the brickyard early enough and got to walk out on the track what an amazing fealing to be standing at the start finish line and look down at turn 4

From the Y2K Camaro/Pace Car Reunion at the track. Here is my 86 I.R.O.C. at the "Yard of Bricks" a lap on the track is awesome.
Any chance an event like that might ever happen again? Making a lap at Indy would be a memory of a lifetime, especially driving our Corvette. I'd love to do that!

LOL, I was there for the Y2K Camaro/Pace Car Reunion and was the only guy with a Trans Am there. I got to take a lap around the track in my Y2K WS6 T/A and have the picture, but I don't have it scanned. That was a fun time. The same day they were having the "Richard Petty Driving Experience", so I got to take a ride around the track in a Dale Earnhardt #3 car. That was the ride of my life!
