Practical speed limit on vert?
I was running an errand yesterday that involved taking the freeway and on my return trip, I put the top down. I was really impressed what a difference in noise and turbulance 10 MPH increments can make. Got up to 90 MPH (briefly) and decided it was too crazy, and slowed it back down to about 80 MPH. But not before a CHP officer entering the freeway forced me to the limit of 70 MPH
I was doing about 80 MPH when I saw him entering the onramp. Fortunately, a big rig blocked his view as I threw it into 3rd and used engine braking to bring me into compliance. He laid back a quarter mile or so for quite awhile, as I stayed in the second lane (my favorite) until he finally blasted past me to who knows where.
So what's the fastest you can go for practical purposes (on a track, naturally) with the top down before your woman's hair blows off into the street?

If I'm going over 50 I put the windows up about 1.5 inches or so. It stops the roar of the wind hitting the seat belt thingamabobbers by your shoulder.

Hum! guess I will have to start keeping a ruler in the car!
Good idea! what if I have it up 1.49" will it still werk?

I was driving the vert topless ( the car was... not me. I'm not tan enough for that) and hit 110 once. It was a bit cold. The car seemed to float all over the place.
