Zo6 Airbox
I was going to put the ZO6 airbox on my vette. (has the holes) Will I notice any difference, is it worth it? Where is the best place to get one?

I got mine from Fred Beans Chevy they are forum vendors i think it was around $50 not sure though check there link on the left, and i guess if it's good enuff for the 400HP Z06 it should be fine for a stock LS-1.

I loved mine....The crossover Duct is your next mod. Give the car 50 or so miles to relearn the computer and you'll think you got a 20 HP gain.
Good Luck

Hi bradleyls103 -
You might notice it by SOTP - my guess is no, you will not notice the increase but you might get some placebo effect. It is very difficult to notice a few hp gain without some specific way of measuring.
JMHO.
Have you heard of the zip-tie mod? Search for that - no $ (except for the zip ties) and it will open the airbox up as much as it possibly can be opened.
best regards -

You might get a little boost from it. I had one on mine for a while until I bought my Blackwing.

I have the lid, but in retrospect, I could have saved money with my doorknob holesaw.
And yes, I can hear and feel the difference

I put the Z06 cover and K&N filter on my 04 with A4 and 2.73 gears. There is a definite SOTP difference. It is now very easy to spin the tires from a stop. The car is also a bit louder and seems to respond quicker. I am very happy with it.

Yes, I failed to mention that I have a K&N filter and the all important hood seal.

I forgot to mention that I also installed cold air screens from west coast corvettes. I also have the all important performance hood seal.
