Tires during storage.
Are flat spots a thing of the past, or do I need to move my car around in the winter? It sets for about 5 months, do I really need to move it around?
I just started it for the first time since October and it started right up. Also is there a build in battery kill or somthing. I thought i herd that once it goes to10 volts or somthing the car cuts everything off so it can't drain anymore. Is this true?
What you should do for winter storage is to inflate your tires to the mazimum pressure stated on the sidewalls. This will eliminate any flat spot issues.
Remember to re-adjust the pressure to the correct pressure in the spring.

However, thick-cardboard or carpeting placed under the tires, with just normal tire pressure (33 in our 94, 32 in our 2000) virtually elimates our flat-spotting (does on both ours -- my speculation is this works because it insulates the constant low temperature cement from the variable air/tire temperature).
Regarding your question about a 'battery kill' feature, don't know about your 2003, but doesn't exist in our 2000, and based on so many reports of dead batteries and lost memory, I'd say it may not be built into the C5's, although there are after-market products that can do it.
I found some old carpet, cut it into 12" squares, put 2 squares under each tire, pump them up to 40 lbs, and that's it. Been doing it for the last 4 winters....
