Default help me pick between these two cams

finally after searching alot and reading different forums i narrowed it down to two cams. g5x3 or cartek stage 3 cam.
I still dont know the specs on the cartek cam and cartek wont talk about the specs either, but they said one thing to me which is that their cam isnt about dyno numbers, but actual et.
Im not saying this is the case with the lg cam since i know nothing about it as far as et's and things of that nature, but i have been told by different people that own both cams that cartek stage 3 is the way to go if you are looking to do a cam only vehicle.
Im looking to go mid 11s cam only without having to abuse the hell out of my vehicle. Cartek claims they have gone high 10s with the cam and et streets plus gears so im thinking that mid 11s should be doable with this cam without the need to do anything else major to the car.
whats everybody's opinion?

In my opinion, you need to decide if you're going drag racing or road racing. I don't know anything about CarTek, but my understanding of Lou's cams is that they are about "area under the curve". How much more than stock does the CarTek cam put out at 2500rpm, 3500 rpm, and 4500 rpm. If you come off the line at 7000 and never drop below 6000rpm it doesn't matter, but in the real world, I come off corners as low as 2500rpm (turn 11 at Laguna Seca), so I need horsepower (torque) at low rpm. Again, my understanding is that Lou's LGM cams give just that sort of improvement.

When you say "cam only" vehicle I guess you're referring to no heads or forced induction planned. I see from your profile (and thought I remembered from your previous header posts) that you do have long tubes. While I don't know anything about the Cartek cam either, the LG Pro headers + G5X3 cam with a tune is a great performing combination as has been posted many times. I think Lou posted 429 rwhp on an 04 Z06 with his headers, cam (G5X3) and cold air intake. That might not be exact but you can search on it if you're interested. I have like mods as you and that's the same cam I'm planning on using. My friend at work has this combination and it is awesome. About your profile, I believe the 04 silver was called Machine silver not Quicksilver like my 03. Welcome to the C5 world - my previous 2 cars were from the F-Body world (99 & 02 WS6). Also worth noting, you can even get your profile name changed if you'd like.

i dont do road racing so it is pretty much a cam for occasional street racing and drag racing at the track.
