BB triflow bullet
I recently purchased a Z06 and it has the BB triflow Bullets on it. It is very loud. I would like to tone it down. Do you all think if I add the front section w/ muffler from the borla race system to it, would it tone it down some? thx

I had a set on as well with stock manifolds and converters. I didnt think they were to loud until I removed the CATS. If you still have cats I dont have any suggestions as I went with long tubes and gave up the B&B to tone it down as well.

You could probably trade your setup for the stock Ti system that comes on the stock ZO6.
I am running the BORLA XR-1 Racing System on mine and it is very throaty at WOT, but hums nice at idle and cruising speeds, but does have the BORLA drone at 70 mph.

That will be the cheapest for you! Instead of BUYING something to fix it, I can GIVE you money for it instead. Because I'm such a nice guy, I'll even throw in a nice, quiet, wish-my-car-sounded-like-a-pussycat-Cadillac, stock exhaust system!! I can't see anyway you could go wrong in this deal!! 
Seriously, though, the x-pipe will alleviate SOME "problem" but you can't keep the Bullets down without completely sound-deadening your interior. Good luck, though!

Too Loud? Well, yes ma'am
(Kidding) swapping to a different exhaust should do the trick. Try z06 cat back, or stock cat back even b&B route 66 should be quieter.
