The comment "hahahahahaha BAIT" doesn`t make sense it should of been "hahahahahaha PREY", anyway don`t judge a book by it`s cover. He did sound like a jerk but racing him is against the law on the street (we all know) and he could of spanked you with his car, they are cheaper to modify and get the same results as a corvette.

But the Firehawks I think came with 340 HP if I recall correctly... and bolt ons to those things are a dime a dozen ( I had a 99 Camaro SS prior to my Vette days)
So I know if he had down any major mods to it, he probably could have smoked me... not that I would have raced him, but he has probably beaten a Z06 at the tracks before so he is not scared to rev his engine next to one on the street and race it, since he would beat a stock z06...
I think I squashed his attitude with my "nice car" comment and the thumbs up...

I pulled over a C4, a few years ago, who's personalized plate read something like 4BAIT or itsbait
I asked the guy what it meant. He said "girl bait". I think the firebird guy was telling you his car was girl bait.
PS The C4 driver got a warning.

I have owned both (c5 and f bodys) looking for c5 ZO6 now and damn some of you are mean haha not all fbodya are bondo queens with mullet drivers.

Hahaha, I agree, but this guy was!!!
He had shaved head, but was definately white trash....
If I see him again on the road I will see what he says next time.... Its probably blown and he knew he would spank me... who knows...
the way I have come to think of his comment... was sorta like... "your the bait for my fish (car) to catch" and the "ahahahah" part was him saying "It will not be a problem for my fish (car) to catch the bait"

A couple of years ago i was at a red light and a late model camaro pulls up next to me. I look over and give the guy a thumbs up he looks at me and proceeds to do a brake stand spewing graval at the car behind him and takes off It was a nice sounding car but i am going WTF
