When you sit at a stoplight and you know you will be there 30 seconds or more, do you:
1) leave it in gear with the clutch in
or
2) do you slip it out of gear and let the clutch out until the light is closer to turning green
???
Seems like #1 might be harder on the throw out bearing but number #2 might be harder on the hydraulics and the whole clutch because it is being disengaged and engaged twice.

depends on my mood, if im feeling lazy and just chillin then neutral but if Im doing some spirited driving im in first ready to go, not that I'm launching at every light but its like once i get a couple of lengths on the rest of trraffic then I chill or i get to the speed limit real fast then chill..............
and coast to 10-15.....-20-25 over the limit and cruise
I always leave it in first. I try to always have my car in the right gear to accelerate if I need to. As I come up on a light, I drop it in to 3rd, 2nd, and 1st before i ever stop moving. I driven all my cars like this and got over 100k on the clutch in my last car, a Z28. Finally fried it on a 1-2 shift at the track after doing head/cam upgrade.
