I did these two simple mods over a month ago and would highly recommend them. I was tying to chase down some rattles in my coupe and came to the conclusion that the roof and glovebox make noise.

For the roof, I bought some peel and stick velcro and cut a few strips of the softer side and placed them on the car where the roof sets on the front and on the roof near the latches. See the pics below.




I also put a strip on each side near the posts which go into the rear of the roof, but I don't think that contributes to anything as I can see from sitting in the car that this does not rub.

Now, despite any type of rough road I drive on, the roof does not rattle at all.

For the second mod, I found some "Foamies" at wallyworld. These are self stick foam paper sized sheets 2mm thick in the craft section for $0.50 each. I used two sheets to cover the surface of the interior of the glovebox. I did not peel the backing off for the bottom sheet so that I could still see the options sheet or remove the glove box if I ever need to. I did stick the foam on the sides. Now, I can no longer hear the bag of quarters for the car wash rattling around as I drive. Here is a pic below.



I am very happy with the results and wanted to pass along these cheap and simple, but effective mods.
