Default 2002 C5 Owners Video

Does anyone have this video that I can borrow or purchase? I got my 02 C5 yesterday and the seller could not find it. He promises to send it to me if he ever finds. I don't doubt that he would, but I doubt he will ever find it! Apparently the video even discusses the dreaded but common rattle from the clutch throwout bearing during idle. Also the low rev rattle possibly from the same source? Just trying to figure out what I done bought already, lol.

Another question - did the car come with two keys/fobs, or just one? The seller said he only got one from the prior owner. My manual seems to indicate just one came with the car, but I am not sure, so I am asking you guys who are original owners! Thanks folks. Jon

I'm not an original owner, but I got two key fobs and keys with the car. They are labled "1" and "2" on the reverse side of the fobs.

I have the video. The funny thing is I have never watched it. I suppose I could try and dub it for you. I dont want to let it go because its still in the complete kit that came with my car.

Jon, PM me your address. I'll burn the 2002 VHS tape onto a DVD for you.
As for the 2 Key Fobs, they all came with 2. You can easily and inexpensively get another one on Ebay.

They all come with 2 key fobs as you mentioned. They are differentiated by the "1" and "2" for use with the 2 Memory settings.

I guess more important than a 2nd fob is to have a 2nd key. Any idea how much a duplicate key costs? The seller told me about $100 due to the chip in it.

Thanks Glenn for making me a DVD of the owner's vid! Looking forward to receiving it. I am going to check eBay for another fob.

There are a lot of very cool and helpful folks on this forum!! Thanks, Jon

You're right of course, but I got home and it was dark, and I've never liked driving at night since my vision just ain't good like in my younger days. HOWEVER, I am going out to the garage to gaze at my mag red, and start to give it the TLC it deserves. Might treat the leather. Hoping my Lloyd's mats come soon, with red C5 logo!!
