Climate control question
This morning was fairly mild here in SoCal, so I put the top down to take my youngest to school. And yes, he loves being driven to middle school (formerly known as junior high) in a 'Vette.
I turned the temp up all the way to max (90) to make the drive a little less chilly, pressed "auto", and after several minutes, the temp control displayed the former setting of 73 degrees.
What am I missing, here? Why would it go back to an earlier setting on its own like that?

hmm i dont have the automatic climate control but I am assuming it is just telling you the actual temperature, which is nice for a top down cruise. I know the thermostat in the house does the same thing.

Don't think so... Actual cabin temperature or outside ambient temperature? Because it was about 62 degrees outside, but the display read 73 when I touched the **** because it didn't feel like it was heating any longer...
The "Auto" setting will not run if you set the temperature at 90 degrees. By pressing auto and having the temp set at 90 degrees it cancelled the 90 degree setting and went back to the previous "auto" temp setting. Next time if you want to run the climate control in "auto" set the temp to 89 deg instead of 90 degrees.
