Just replaced my Goodyear EMT tires with Michillan(sic?) non run flats. Iknow the ZO6 comes with a tire repair kit: is that what I need, or are there better products out there to carry for an emergency?
When I changed to non runflat tires I put the following in my rear compartments. Plug kit with the T-handle, visegrip needlenose pliers (if needed to pull the object out), scissor jack, small air compressor that plugs in cig lighter, 1 jacking puck and wheel chock. I keep a flashlight in my glove box, only thing I think I really need to add might be some gloves and maybe something to kneel or sit on while working on the tire. I don't think I forgot anything.

No need to spend $450 or so for the Z06 repair kit. Got to Wal-Mart or any auto parts store and get an air compressor that plugs into the cig lighter, a plug kit with pliers/side cutters, and if you can find a small scissors jack that will fit under the car, that's about all you need. You can also put something like a cheap shower curtain in there to lay on should you have any problems.

I just had occasion to use my Craftsman Truck/SUV compressor my kids bought me for Father's Day a few years ago. I've been carrying it and the other items JD mentioned above, in my car for several years now. My tire had a screw in the tread and was flat when I came out of the house recently. The pump took about 10-15 mins to pump it up to 34-34lbs. Since the leak was slow enough, it gave me plenty of time to get to a shop to get the hole fixed properly. HTH
