HUD Page changing from saved Settings

When I drive my car I have the HUD page set to show the speed, tach and Fuel gauge. But in the last couple of months, after parking the car over night the HUD page is opening with the water temperature instead of the fuel gauge showing. I have owned the car since new and it never did this before a few months ago. Although the owner's manual doesn't mention the HUD on the memory settings, I have tried saving my memory settings several times but it continues to revert back to the water temp. Has anyone seen this problem before?

Probably a weak battery.

Mine started doing the same thing. Turned out that the car battery was starting to go. Replaced the battery, and now the HUD is back to normal and keeps my saved settings.

It will do this when your car's battery gets low. May want to check it and see if it needs to be replaced.

from what ive observed ANYTIME the car does anything remotely weird its time for a battery. these things get haunted when the slightest bit of voltage drop is found.....
