When you run the codes on the DIC - are you seeing anything in the RDCM (right door control module) or LDCM (left door control module), or the BCM (body control module)? Can you lower the window on the passenger side with the switch on the passenger door? Do the door locks work on the passenger door, using the button?

The panel that contains all of the switches should just pop up - are all the connections on the back side clean and tight?

Beyond those questions....I don't know....good luck!

This will sound crazy to you but I had the same problem and it led to other weird electrical things. I tore the car apart looking for a short (literally). It was my battery. Didn't think it was because it was only 4 months old but it was. Started with just the driver's door window switch not working.

Everything in the car works and the controls on the drivers door work...all of them except for the window. the door lock button actuates the passenger door but not the drivers....so as far as i can tell there is power to the door. I have no codes in the DIC ....is there a way to access them? I knew i shouldn't have installed that high performance hood seal! that must have caused it!

mine did this intermitantly. was the little points used in the door computer going out. the window worked slow some tmes and the power lock just would do nothing most times. had that replaced no more problems. there is some one on the forum that has a way to cut a hole in the little black box and clean the points with a emery cloth or finger nail file.

Same thing happened to me on the passenger side. It turned out to be a loose connection in the wires going from the car to the door. We were going crazy because we were at the hotel at a Corvette event and I was suppose to drag race in the morning! Luckily my husband was able to get the window up that night!
Good luck with it! Hope this helps!

Had the same problem as you and it turned out to be a loose connector. Same connector for both window and door locks. Have also seen a lot of posts regarding wiring in the tunnel going from the door to the frame.

Good Luck!

Connections and wiring in the accordian tube through the door panel can become kinked contributing to malfunction.

got the door apart and lo and behold when i had the door panel off the last time (installing VE door pulls) like 2 years ago I had pinched the wire harness and it had rubbed through the insulation from the control panel to the inside of the door It was against one of the three peices of metal in the whole door Taped the wire, re-routed it and it works just fine! I will be a lot more careful next time
