Default Performance mod decision....

Hey guys, I have a 2003 Z06 with kooks long-tube headers, Borla catback, Halltech intake and a tune (aside from small things like beru plugs and msd wires, throttle body bypass, etc)......I am looking for some serious power from my next mods....here is where you corvette experts come in.....I have a few different ideas in mind...help me out.....I am going to go with either 1) Heads/Cam package......2) Cam (no heads) and a nitrous setup......or 3) Vortech supercharger package from Andy......The vortech is what I would really like to do but installed and re-tuned its going to run me about $8,000!!! i figure the heads and cam will run me somewhere between $5,000-$6,000 installed and just the cam with nitrous should run me no more then $4,000 installed..............PLEASE HELP!!!

8k for the supercharger isn't all that bad of a price. Once my warranty is out, I'm starting of with a h/c package, then over to a s/c or turbo (undecided)

Make sure you speak with Andy over at A&A before you do anything!

Go blowin I did and I have not looked back yet, although I did the entire engine, head and cam at the sametime. I have one of Andys DS1C setups and love it. Call him and get either a used DS1C or his new setup and you will smile everytime you drive your car

My car is streetable until you mash the gas and then it is a blast that does not stop

Start looking through the parts section and put a post that you want one. I got mine used off the forum and since I did the motor and all it makes 742 rwhp and 655 rwtq. The member I bought this setup from made about 525 rwhp stock except for LT (TPIS) and Alky, I also bought them from him

One of my friends in Houston bought the same setup for his Z and he is around 575 rwhp stock, so I say go for it and you will not look back

Anybody know if Andy himself has any used units for sale or if he does that sort of thing?

I love the sound of the H/C best... IMHO, SCs can be noisy (whiny) in a bad way...
