Avoid like the plague. Again, I speak from experience. Get the ECS Paxton blower

EG - where you supercharged BEFORE the ECS Paxton?

there a MANY people making TONS of power with ATI setups (of course with Andy's bracket - which i have ON THE WAY)

i am a tad disappointed with my setup - as it's been in the shop for a LONG time - but.....come to find out - the setup on my car is "unique" to an MTI install. they informed me this is the ONLY car they setup with the ATI bracket rather than the A&A bracket - so if that cures my problem - my b!tch list just got a little longer!

Prochargers are not "bad" they just have a "bad rap" because of the mistreatment of Andy! their bracket on the other hand - is "bad" (and to quote Run DMC - that's bad meaning bad, not bad meaning good!)

now, if andys bracket doesn't fix my problem - i can't blame ATI - but i will in all seriousness remove the D1 and go N/A with nitrous for a while - while i save my pennies for twins!

Yes, one of my first mods when I was still stock in 2004 was a ATI P-1SC Procharger. I made 497rwhp with that system... however, 3 thrown belts later - bye bye Procharger. I went N/A for a while and now I'm back to forced induction - but with a strong N/A slant.

Yes, yes, I know. I am a modaholic and I know I need help

I had a procharger on me 2000 gt vert mustang it made great power, but it wasnt my dd and i fried a belt on mine also in about maybe less than 5k miles driving. Although that was the only problem with it if i had to do it again i would probably do a t-trim vortech, or a paxton novi 2000 if i was going to go the blower route. As it is i plan on optimizine the na motor, and go turbo, yes i miss my grandnational. No knock on the ATI as it was the only blower i ever had, who knows i probably could have fried the belt with the paxton or the vortech. All in all it's a good product but i've had it before so i would try others. But whats great about it is that it comes with the intercooler and you dont have to add it like other kits.
