Optima RedTop Battery size
Hey guys! I'm new to this forum and also a new corvette owner (2004 Convertible A4). I have a question concerning the leaking battery issue with C5 model vettes'. After reading the recomendations for a gel battery to replace the AC Delco that came with the car, I went to Costco for the Optima RedTop and all they sold were the 75/35 720 CCA models. Will this be OK for a 2004 C5? I read in other threads where guys were using the 34/78 800 CCA models? I am not having problems with my current AC Delco, but rather spend the $100 now than $1000 bucks later after damages! Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum Yes, the 75/35 will work. The 34/78 is a heavier duty version and is what many guys prefer. It's the one I prefer. HTH
