Default LS7 Engine 13,395!

Hi All,
I have a couple more LS7's on the way next week and I already have one sold, but I have the other available.

Give me a call or send me an email if you want it. We're trying to sell it for a reasonable price to move freight, we don't want to charge more for it just because we have it!

Thanks,
Gene

Not to rain on anyones parade, but $12,999.99 from Jegs in Ohio. Go to www.jegs.com, then do a search for GM crate motors.

Now this is rain
Jegs is not our supporting vendor so you please do not post something like this in a vendor post.

It's nice to shop around and find the best deal, but don't undercut a supporting vendor whose been great to all of us on this board...

What wrong with someone informing us about a better price? Why should anyone have to pay more for the same product reguardless if they are a supporting vendor or not. I cant see why someone would make a comment not to undercut a supporing vendor price. I believe that price sould be competitive. If Im not making any sence please say so.

I was only trying to help perspective buyers find the best current price. If it makes you feel better to spend an extra 400 bucks, knock yourself out. Personally, if I were in the market for such a large purchase, saving 400 would make me happy. If Jegs can sell for that price, and make a profit, I guess other sources could do the same. Am I missing something here?

I agree you should be able to be informative afterall this is a 'corvette forum' right? Any member should be allowed to speak about where to find items related and how much they cost that is the beauty of a forum sharing information!!

I think if you read forum rules you'll see that posting links to competitors in a sponsors thread is not allowed.

Hi there,
That's interesting. I wonder if they could get you one and I wonder if that was with the January price increase? I haven't really seen a dealer under 13,800.

I'm not looking to kill anybody here. If you're a serious buyer and not just someone who is trying to beat somebody up, give me a call and we'll take about the 12,999. It's not a big deal.

Thanks for the support guys.

Just an FYI, The Jegs website says their LS7 does not include:

Dry sump oil lines
Dry sump tank
Engine beauty cover
Engine processor
Air filter/air box
Accessories or accessory drive

Perhaps Gene can elaborate if his LS7 package contains these items.

And if not, how much for the rest of it? Specifically the dry sump lines and tank.
