I still shake my head in wonder every time I drive at night. Man do the stock lights suck! Are there replacements modules/bulbs/whatever for the fog lights that will augment the driving lights?
I don't use my headlights while driving around the city. The PIAA's are bright enough for me to see at night. I only use my headlights when its raining, when i'm driving around in the country or long interstate cruises.
I have the PIAA 1100 too, and got pulled over cause I was blinding the LEO that was driving in front of me. If that tells you how bright they are. I also replaced my low beam with the high beam bulbs. That makes a BIG difference too. It's cheaper and easier too. But they compliment the PIAA's very well too.
Along with the bulb upgrade this is an easy, fast and inexpensive change to improve the lighting. Don't crank the fogs up too far to impair oncoming drivers, but enough to make a big difference.
I already knew they were aimed wrong. I had just had them installed. They are aimmed now and that incident happened over 2 years ago. I didn't get a ticket in that incident. Thanks for the links though.
