Default Engine Chip

Got a 03 coupe...looking to change the computer chip. How much horsepower gain can you get and where can I get the chip ???

You don't change chips in the C5. You reflash the computer. Hypertech, Predator, Dyno tune. Don't really know how much you'll gain. I'm sure someone will know.

No chip to change. Do a search on Dynotuning.

If you don't have any other mods don't waste your $$$. You might get a little hp & tq from a dyno tune, but not anything astounding. If you want a nice kick in the pants get yourself a good CA intake and maybe gears. Both will be money well spent IMO.

If you have no mods, a tune won't make much difference.

It wont be enough that you will feel it in the seat of your pants.
If you want cheap HP then I would do LT headers then gear if you want to feel it. If you want more then do heads and cam

Jet Performance makes a plug in "chip" or module as they are now called. Although I did have one installed when I first got the car I can't really remember if it made all that much difference. It is supposed to firm up the shifts and such.

thinking of putting a supercharger in ...bout to spend 8 grand on one and was just woundering if they was a chip also. so guess have it tuned when they install the charger. thinking about putting the vraam intake on at the same time. should push around 600 hp if im correct.
