The BSM's are held on with double sided tape and the heat gun softens the adhesive up. Start at the back (small) end and carefully apply heat while prying up with your fingers. As you begin to peel the tape off, just work your way forward. Don't use scrapers or a putty knife If you don't get all the tape off the door don't worry. You can buy some adhesive remover that's made for this type work. I think it's 3M that makes the adhesive remover. It is safe for paint finishes, but you will have to re-wax of course. Check with a body shop in your area to see what they use. HTH, Robert
