We've got 10-12 inches of snow this morning in Haymarket, VA (35 miles southwest of DC). I won't be able to drive the vette for at least a week until they get this stuff cleaned up. Can't drive the vette out the front door - can't play golf out the back door.
I'm reduced to doing my taxes.....Damn.
But you can watch the Daytona qualifying and the Bud Shootout that was rained out last night!!!
all of my vehicles are (Ram, Yukon and the vette) clean, so I guess it will be chinese delivery for dinner tonite, and the truck for the rest of the week until ir dries up.
The outside of my garage sort of looks like Glennm27's picture. I went out to measure the accumulation and dropped my official Skywarn ruler into the snow. Probably won't find it 'til next week.
14-15" here in Fairfax, VA, but the roads are clear this morning and the office is open so: "I owe, I owe, it's off to work I go"! Guess I'll be doing a lots of cleaning tonight.
Actooly, it doesn't look that bad -- at least not bad enough to go to our back-up plan: if the roads are *really* messy, my wife drives me in her F150 4x4 to the local Enterprise rental car outlet.
OK, Stop it already -- you guys are breaking my heart. The east coast gets 2 feet of snow once in every couple years. Where I live, 2 feet may happens a couple times a year and we don't think anything of it (yearly snow fall > 180 inches). I really wish I could take my vettes out in the winter but I'll be lucky if they can get out of the garage by the end of April.
No snow here... thank God. Still need to do my taxes so I can get more $$$ to rid myself of Mod-Fever. Anybody out there know how to file married with a wife waiting on greencard and SSN? The Army bubbas won't help me out because of this (Yep..Army does it for us if we want)... and the cC5, I'm sure is feeling neglected.
