Default Passenger side window won't go down...

Is there a window lock feature I'm missing? Never really roll down my windows, but I was cleaning the interior today and noticed the passenger window wouldn't go down. I can hear a switch, but that's it. Any help? Thanks.

Common prob on the Z06 is a sticking or bad window switch. Try and tap on the passenger side switch while lowering. Seems from lack of use, they either stick or can go bad.

Let us know...Good Luck

While it could be mechanical, or a switch problem, there is also a computer in the door that controls functions on the passenger side of the car including the mirror, door locks, and window. I got mine wet and the contacts corroded. Had to replace the computer. Cost about $150 for the part and I did it myself.

Sounds like the window regulator. They cost about $280.00 to fix at the dealer. I had two go at once on my Silverado and one go on my wife's YukonXL.

I'm thinking that's the problem.

Most likely. I've had three fail like I said, all newer GM vehicles too. My 03 ZO6 is probably next.

I think GM knows that they are a problem, but rather go on fixing them for cash. Makes me mad, because it has cost me plenty. I heard that they may be able to fix it under warranty, but I'm not too sure.

Seems if you use it frequenty, helps the contacts, not always.

Sometimes it just pukes and you have to replace the regulator.
