This is my 2004 before the accident and the infamous "Duct Tape Mod." Note the top and the halo are both painted black as are the front vents.
Then a SUV messed up my left front...
And I used Duct Tape to hold it together for a cruise with the Queen City Corvette Club to St Augustine.
Zilla suggested that I get a Tiger Shark front fascia and my lovely wife TrainMom, who was obviously impress with all of the stars next to Zilla's avatar, approved the purchase. These photos were taken before the paint was blended and the mismatch in colors is now almost invisible.
Once again, I blacked out all of the vents
A little bit of black paint goes a long way to making light colored Corvettes unique.

I really like the looks of that car. Have seen a few that did the total blackout of the rear fascia but most just do the lower part right above the exhaust tips. The total blackout goes very well with that color.
Okay, as I read this thread, I was waiting for someone to ask, and waiting for an answer, but it never came!
1. That's a unique side skirt on the Z06. Who makes it and is it prone to paint chips from the front wheels throwing rocks?
2. Notice the line on the roof, a few inches before the rear window? Has this Z06 been chopped for a removable roof?? I've seen it on a website once, but the pics weren't good. It'd be nice to see it with the top off.
