Hi, i just purchased a B&B Bullet tri flow cat back. I was woundering how difficult it would be to install myself, and if i would need any special tools. I puschaced a Quad tip if that makes any difference. Thanks for any info .
Just got my B&B PRT system and posted 2 questions. One, do you really have to disconnect the battery? - Everyone said NO.
Question 2 I just posted: Do you have to disconnect rear sway bar on a 6-speed? No answers yet.

I just installed my exhaust, not BB, last week and didn't disconnect the battery. I did however have to drop the sway bar. It seemed necessary to get the stock exhaust out without cutting it. And my new exhaust (borla straights) use the top bolt of the sway bar to mount them. I raised the back just under 3ft in the air to get the stock exhaust out with no cutting.
A friend and myself just installed my B&B Bullet Quad Tip exhaust last weekend. I ended up cutting my stock exhaust out because I didn't have a lift. Just used a floor jack and jack stands. I did have to disconnect the sway bar to put the passenger side over axel pipe in place. The driver side over axel pipe went in fine without having to disconnect the sway bar. I thought that was kind of weird. You'll need 13mm and 15mm sockets to get the job done. It's really easy. Just unbolt the old, and rebolt the new. Good luck. By the way, they are awesome sounding!

Congrats on the new exhaust. I have a B&B exhaust - you'll like the quality of the system. No real special tools needed -just basic wrenches and sockets. You will need to drop the sway bar if you don't want to cut the stock exhaust when removing it. Car needs to get somewhere between 30"-36" in the air to do the job - I just had a muffler shop do it - cost was $50.
