Thanks to member msj2222! He sold me an Arctic White top for my coupe. Now I have the best of both worlds. He was really good to deal with and knew where the roof was at any moment during it's delivery.
Here it is:
He goes to show there are great members on this board.
The only issue is with the weatherstripping on the top of the roof (car side) not fitting really snug in one spot. I'm sure it's due to fitting the countour of the original top for so long. The new top seats a little different, and probably just doesn't rest in exactly the same spot. It was tougher to put on, so I'm sure that's all it is.
just wondering if you figured out the problem with the weatherstrip, it looked mint when I examined it, maybe it needs to break in?? Let me know if I can do anything, Good Luck, Mike
It's just the strip that's attached to the body of the car. I've been so busy at work, that I haven't been able to check it the last couple of days. I'm thinking that side of the top, the peg, just needs adjusting to snug it down better. I love it, though, and it looks great!!
