I do not know about the Nittos but have done alot of research lately on the BFG's

The KDW's and the KD's are great tires at a very reasonable price.
I have KD's on order..... You'll get a little more wear out of the KDW's. Both good tires. Alot of guys here have and like the KDW's.....

I JUST YESTERDAY went through this same decision. Size is also a factor, as stock c5 sizes are not offered for the KDW-2, if you want the newer version. I ended up getting the 555's. They're known for how quiet they are and how well they wear. I bet you get better grip for the KDW series though, at a small cost of having a bit more noise. After doing all this research and reading MANY reviews about these, I guarantee you won't be making a mistake with whichever tire you choose. Discounttiredirect.com has some good deals on stock c5 sizes on the 555's though.

I am in the same boat as you and looking at those same tires as well as the GSD3's. However, I think I have made my mind up on the BFG KDW2's. The price, the comments I have found, and the reviews of other CF owners that I have read, not to mention the handling I have heard for the KDW's. They just sound like the best bang for the buck. However, I encourage you to shop it and learn it too. Can't hurt to know more about a car that we all love.

Good thing about the KDW's I have found with them as well "The Evil Empire" Wal Mart/Sams Club carries them so I am going to use them as a price point and see what kind of deals I can find.

And THEN take the tires to someone I trust installing them....and it won't be Wal Mart that's for sure.

Good luck
