Man I am sorry for your loss. I too lost my best friend two years ago and there's not a day that goes by that I don't think of him. It does get better and all my memories are very fond ones and put a smile on my face. This is what he would have wanted. He was a great car guy too and was the reason for my buying my Vette and changing my life once more before passing away. He is with me everytime I get in the car.

I am sure that these kind of memories and feelings will come your way in the future. As for now!! Hang in there I know it's hard and is @$%@#$ terrible. But he would want you to move on. In your own time. I feel for ya man!! Tear! Take care. Send our best wishes and condolences to YOU and his family and friends. God Bless. Time is a great healer. PM me if you would like.

God bless him and his family. This is why I never feel bad about "pushing" people to think about life insurance. I hope his wife and childeren are taken care of.

Default God be with you

I lost my mother this past August due to the effects of a massive stroke. I know your pain and by all means this forum is welcome to your need to express your feelings. "That which does not kill one makes one stronger". May your god be with you, and if not, may a smoky burnout in a vacant factory parking lot help you deal with your emotions. It worked for me. My mom is not dead. Her DNA, her personality, her "ways" live within me every single day.

Be thankfull that you had his friendship for the time you did. I know what an empty hole it can leave. I just went through the same thing three weeks ago. I was talking to him one Thursday mornig around 10:00 am. He suffered a stroke about two hours later. It was hard saying good bye. Still coping with it. But he will ALWAYS be with me. Go have a beer with some friends and share the old times with them. It helps. Good Luck, and God Bless.

At a time like this it's helpful if you have someone to talk to about your friend, someone who doesn't mind listening and you can just let it all out. Gotta do that from time to time. I hope you know a person like that you can talk to. If not, post your thoughts here, we all understand and will listen.
God Bless.
