Do you say "Corvette" or "Vette"?
Newbie here, but not new to Corvettes. I've owned four but just recently purchased a low mileage 01 vert, pewter, oak/oak. But hey, on the threat subject, I've always thought the term "Vette" was rather high schoolish, so I have always refered to my car as what it is, a Corvette. Any thoughts on that?
you could at least wash it before you take pics of that thing....
btw, EG, are you going to lower it anytime soon? damn that thing is slammed...bring it over to my place, I need a plow today!! We got hit this morning!!

I use Vette more often. For the non-converted it just sounds more casual and less pompous. Some one asks me on a Monday morning, "so what did you do on the weekend" I say, "my wife and I took the vette down to Niagars Falls for a spin and ended up staying for dinner" Now insert "corvette" into that sentance and it sounds a little more formal...but thats JMHO
