Tire/Wheel size/Offset suggestions.

I've basically made up my mind that I'm going to put these iforged classics on my 2001 Black Convertible/Black top/Black interior C5.

Unfortunately, my skill in wheel sizes/offsets, and such is poor, at best. I know I want the tires a bit bigger than the stocks I have on there right now, because I want the tires to fill out the wheel well fully. There is a red vette that is gorgeous in this post that is pretty close to what I'm looking for, if not a bit extreme (referring to the dropping of the car so much)

Does anybody have any suggestions of wheel sizes/offsets, and possibly experience with slightly dropping the car to get the look I'm trying to describe?

Thanks for any help you can offer, as I see there's quite a bit of experience in this forum.
