I ran one down the pillar to the accessory fuse and connected both the radar detector and GPS. I also used it to power the pillar gauges.

The top one is the air/fuel ratio gauge, connected to one of the O2 sensor wires. The lower is the fuel pressure gauge. It's connected by a wire to a remote sending unit on the fuel rail.

Do you mean you tapped into a hard wire that feed your detector with the power source of your GPS? I am seriously looking at getting one before CRUISIN this May.

No we got it, but it already melted, it was pretty mild after the storm.
