Has anyone had problems with ordering from Eckler's?

If you think mail order customer service is bad, try walking into the showroom and see how quickly you become invisible. Worst customer service and sales people with an attitude.
Never again.

I have a C3 that I am rebuilding, when finished, I will have a " New " 71' and most all the parts have come from Eckler's, to the tune of 12k at last count.
I also have a 02' vert and have ordered a couple grand of mods from them for it as well.

Not going to say they haven't screwed up a couple of things, but have always made good , and as I live in Gainesville, two hours away, I drove down a bunch of return parts and the woman at the counter took an hour to help me sort out 11 orders over 18 months and give me credit for them.
They will continue to have my buisness.

Had the same problem with them last year. Took 2 months to get a bra for my '99... and then it was the wrong one! Their customer service is a joke. Returned the part, got a refund a month later. Needless to say, that was my last order with them.

No problems with a couple of orders. I was in Daytona for speed week and stopped into there show room and tryed to spend some cash but it was packed with customers, French speaking tourists I believe, and couldnt even get someone to take my money. Ended up leaving without spending anything but I didnt feel like waiting and they where busy.

As promised, my first Ecklers order update:

Received a partial order yesterday. Initial email indicated all were in stock. Order receipt says,

Hat's - Back ordered, ship at a later date

Shirts - Delivered

Folding Chairs C5 Logo - Delivered

Pretty good in my opinion.

Update....I did call the credit card company and they said it was too late to take the charge off because they already paid the vendor. This probably explains why they drug their feet for 2.5 weeks before I actually got the part. However, they did say that if Eckler's gives me any grief crediting my account back, just call them back and they will file a complaint against them and arbitrate it for me. They also put it in my file that I am contesting this cc charge. So, hopefully I will get all my money back and just be done with this whole affair..Thanks to everyone for all of you input and advice. T-Bone.
