Default help me... i have Traction issues

Help, i put 4.10 gears in my m6 vert and i cant hook up anymore... im currently running a slightly wider kdw 2 on my stock none zo6 rims... im willing to upgrade the rims for some alpha tires, i just need the best sticky tire and wheel combo... i could care less about handing in rain, i just need to be able to hook up and corner (hooking up more important then cornering) any ideas??? i also have 125 shot nitrous and some other small stuff done.. so keep that in mind that i will have to hook up also...

Try the house of wheels 18x12 no tubbing wheels and add some 335 nitto tires. that should keep you on the ground

Nitto 555R tires. They are drag radials, hook up well (better than same size BFG TA KD's) but still OK in the rain. They just won't last very long, I get about 10K miles a set.

I took this pic from another thread. I don't know what BRAND the tires are, but the tires and wheels are the size and offset we are talking about.....

Well, look through the other post I linked above. There are a couple more pix about 1/2 way through. They look like they stick out more in the other pictures. I would have posted them, but they are HUGE pictures with thumbnails. Since I don't know how to do the thumnails I decided against HUGE.

Only downside to 410 gears, everyone praises them but then forgets about traction. Already some good advice in the other posts,,, but if I were in youre shoes, I would be thinking about upgrading your Drive Train.... with 410 Gears, 125 shot and big sticky tires....i would be worried about how long your Rearend will last
DTE Brace
Hardened output shafts?

Good luck

also you might want to think about upgrading your rear shocks and bushings .. so as to allow the rear to squat and go verses how it's setup now ..

Thanks for the input... my drive terrain is good to go though... i have a aluminum fly wheel, spec stage three clutch, the tranny was completly rebuilt with all viper internals with brass to replace most the plastic cheaper parts, zo6 torque tube, rear end was built when the 4.10's were put in and hardend half shafts where installed... its set up for power just missing one thing forgot what it is called but is only 400$... lol now i just need to hook... and i will... even if i have to have the stupid thing tubed.... but im only pushing 417 hp to the rear wheels, so it shouldnt be to bad...thanks again,
Nick

Unless you forgot to list it, you still need the DTE brace. With over 400RWHP and 4.10's you really should have it. ESPECIALLY if you put tires that will hook up

Yep thats the last thing, I forgot what it was called but it runs around $400... but im not really concerned untill i can hook up because i just break lose, so it really dosnt twist everything... It will go on before the new tires and rims do though!!! thanks

I've got the same problem in 1st and 2nd and only have 340 rwhp. Might have to try the Nittos one of these days.
