C5 Alpine HU install
Where did you guys connect the RED wire to?
Do you need to connect the RED wire since the Yellow wire would be hooked up?
THe instructions say to hook up the RED wire to the ignition BROWN wire, where is the best location to tie that wire in?

I posted in BOTH locations.
Yes, I comapred the option of getting the CD chnager Harness and then the Ipod box, and that is a lot of money just for those two items. And then stuck looking at that dman s tock radio.
So, why not look at replacing the whole radio, that has a direct connect for IPOD (NO BOX)? And here is the 06 Alpine Radio.
Have some nice new colors in the HU space. And NO more BIG damn buttons.
Well just my opinion. I did not get the VRUM VRUM face plate, $90 for a piece of flat plastic with some white paint? I don't think so.
